The Department of Robotics and Mechatronics (KRiM) is a part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at AGH - the University of Science and Technology. The Department is located in the D1 AGH building at No. 9 Reymonta Street in Krakow.

     The Department of Robotics and Mechatronics is one of the leading scientific and research institutions in Poland in the field of interdisciplinary research, which integrate knowledge on mechanics, electronics, control and informatics.

     The Department staff teach at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics in two fields: 'Automatics and Robotics' and 'Mechatronics'. All programmes are lectured in Polish and English. We conduct and coordinate postgraduate studies "Mechatronics in Education", which are among the rare offers in Poland, aimed to educate teachers in mechatronics.

     The Department carries out numerous scientific and research projects, in majority financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and grants from the European Commission. The scope of research tasks and scientific competencies of the Department includes the following issues:
